Indigo Mobile is a free Android application developed by Shireburn Software Ltd, falling under the category of Business & Productivity. As part of the Indigo Attendance module, the app allows employees to clock in and out of their shifts using their mobile device. With the growing trend of remote work and flexible hours, Indigo Mobile provides an excellent tool for managing a remote workforce.
The app features a Shift/Roster Calendar that allows employees to view their shifts on their phone. They can clock in and out of each shift directly from the app, with GPS location capture to monitor their off-site locations. This feature is particularly important for accountability purposes in case of incidents. Multiple profiles can be registered for different jobs, and the app eliminates the need for costly punch/clock devices on site, saving costs. In addition, manual punches can be activated for users who forget to punch through the app or have issues with their mobile devices.
